Legault Chiropractic Health Center

Dr. Jacqueline Legault Valcourt DC
Dr. Jacqueline was born in Lachine, Quebec, Canada just a few miles from Pointe Claire where she lived and went to French school until 1978 when she moved with the family to Florida. Like her older sister, Micheline, Dr. Jacqueline had decided that she wanted to become a chiropractor when she was only a little girl of 5 or 6. As a teenager she helped in this office as a chiropractic assistant. Dr. Jacqueline attended Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa from which she graduated in 1986. She is licensed in Florida and Quebec, Canada. She is a proud parent of four children –Mario, Sylvain, Cara, & Pierre. She spends much of her personal time as a Scout Leader for Boy Scouts; and has helped all four of her kids and many others to reach the highest ranking in scouts.(Mario, Sylvain, and Pierre: Eagle Award, Cara: Gold Award) She is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Asso., L’Ordre des Chiropraticiens de Quebec, the Southern Chiropractic Association, and was a past vice-president of the Can-Am Optimist Club of Hollywood. Dr. Jacqueline also speaks fluent English, French, and Spanish.

Dr. Marcel Legault DC
Dr. Marcel was born in Pointe Claire, Quebec Canada where he lived and went to school until 1978 when he moved with the family to Florida. Dr. Marcel had decided that he wanted to become a chiropractor when he was just a little boy as well. As a teenager he often helped in this office as a chiropractic assistant and watch as his parents cared for their many patients. Dr. Marcel attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa from which he graduated in 1992. After passing the Florida Chiropractic Board Exams, he became a licensed chiropractor in the state of Florida. Dr. Marcel is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association, the Southern Chiropractic Association and the Hollywood Knights of Columbus, where he was a Past Grand Knight. He & his wife Theresa are the proud parents of 4 children - Elizabeth, Emily, Nicholas & Noah. Dr. Marcel keeps himself very active with his children’s lives and all of their many activities, as well as being active with his grandchildren. Having spent over 9 years in Quebec Canada, Dr. Marcel speaks fluent French and is now capable of conversing very well in Spanish, too.

Dr. Mario Valcourt DC
Dr. Mario was born in Florida where he lived his whole life. He went to Palmer College Of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa just like the his Parents and Grandparents. He graduated Oct. 21, 2016. Dr. Mario is curently practicing in our office after 5 years in Sri Lanka (A Country Near India) at a Natural Cancer Treatment Center called Vingyana Reefs adjusting patients. Dr. Mario Speaks fluent French and English and is learning Spanish. Dr. Mario is Fourth generation chiropractic patients and has never had any shots, vaccinations nor drugs of any kind in his entire life. Through good family example, chiropractic care has always been the familys' choice for any and all ailments. This goes for the whole entire family for four generations. It's Possible because It Works!

Dr. Virginia Legault DC
Dr. Virginia was born in Woodstock, IL only about 10 miles from her home town of McHenry, where she lived until leaving for Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She and her family were chiropractic patients all her life. In fact, Dr. Virginia always says that she was a chiropractic patient from before she was born. Her mother could NOT have children and with the help of chiropractic care, Dr. Virginia is the 4th child out of five children. Throughout her childhood and her adult life, Dr. Virginia has never had any vaccination, shots nor medication--- only chiropractic care for any and every problem that came along. While in her teens she decided to become a chiropractor and, with the blessing of her parents, she attended and graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1963. She met Dr. Gerard, who was also attending Palmer College, and they married while they were both still students. After graduation she and Dr. Gerard moved to Quebec, where Dr. Virginia pledged to herself to speak French fluently, which she has done. [Note: She is now also learning to speak Spanish.] She was named International Female Chiropractor of the Year in 1976. She is also licensed to practice chiropractic in Quebec, Canada & here in Florida.

Dr. Gerard Legault DC (Retired)
Dr. Gerard was born in Valois, Quebec, Canada (in the Montreal area), where he lived and went to school until leaving for Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Gerard’s family were patients of his cousins' Dr Paul-Emile Chevrefils DC and Dr. Roger Chevrefils DC who stimulated Dr. Gerard to become a chiropractor after removing all of the symptoms/problems of Dr. Gerard’s chronic severe sinusitis. He graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1963. After graduation, Dr. Gerard and Dr. Virginia moved to Canada and opened an office in Pointe Claire, Quebec where they practiced for 15 years. Dr. Gerard was named International Chiropractor of the Year in 1976. He and Dr. Virginia became licensed in Florida that same year. Then, at the request of many of the south Florida chiropractors, they decided to move to Florida to help the local chiropractors with all of the French Canadians who couldn’t speak English. Upon their arrival in Hollywood, FL, they found this very location. After purchasing and converting it to the present office building, they practiced in this very same office since Aug. 10, 1979. Dr. Gerard retired from active practice in 2002. They were both members of the Florida Chiropractic Association and L’Ordre des Chiropraticiens du Québec. Dr. Gerard and Dr. Virginia were the proud parents of Micheline, Jacqueline and Marcel Legault, all of whom had decided to become chiropractors as small children and have well accomplished their goals.

Our Team takes 'Special Interest' in Family Care!
Although our chiropractors see patients of all ages, they greatly enjoy caring for young children, babies and pregnant mothers. Many of the local mid-wives of Boca Raton to south Miami send their mothers-to-be to our chiropractic center to be cared for because they know that these women will be in safe and caring hands receiving helpful care without the use of drugs that might injure their unborn child. The age range of patients cared for at our center starts at "only a few minutes old" [Dr. Jacqueline often assists the mid-wives at the delivery of the babies of her mother-to-be patients] on up to Over 100 years old and any age in between. Naturally, the techniques/methods differ greatly for the very very young and the senior-seniors compared to the football players or the construction workers, etc., but each case is studied and cared for as their individual needs present. If anyone, young or old, injures themselves, whether it be a fall, over exertion, a sports injury, an auto accident, a work related injury or even of unknown cause, ALL of the chiropractors are always happy to care for them, too.
